The Challenge:
Create a happy, youthful-yet-sophisticated bedroom make-over for a 15-year-old whose parents wanted to give her a budget-friendly yet personal + creative birthday gift. she requested a teal, mint + yellow color palette and the rest was up to us!

A young design-lover, Brooklyn born-and-raised, transitioning from childhood to adulthood and having fun along the way!

We created 3 very different themes, keeping colors in mind, with budget-friendly pieces.
Eye See You
A bold but whimsical option. Black + white (SO New York!), with teal accents. A subtle nod to the empowerment of an individual - a perfect theme for being on the brink of adulthood!
Terrifically Terrazzo!
A happy mix of earth and sky, a nouveau-Hippie, peaceful vibe. Who says you can’t bring a little Beach-ness to Brooklyn?
Tropical Fantasy
Turquoise, jungle themed rug and floor coverings with rattan accents make for a relaxing yet energizing vibe. Homework in here? Yes, please…
Still Sweet, but Spicy
Youthful and fresh, floral wallpaper complimented by sun-hot ombre drapery, with a dash of brassy-cool in the desk and nightstand. A mint velvet chair to sink into after a long day at school. Lovely!
The Finished Product:
Our client chose an Earth, Sun and Sky combo! The cloudy bedding, sunny curtains and earthy terrazzo wallpaper make for a truly happy and well-rounded room!
