Our Latest Project - 'West End Wonderful' - A Serene Mix of Modern Style and Traditional Details.

Announcing one of our most recent projects - an Upper West Side Manhattan townhouse transformed into a wonderland of textures and colors, enriching and defining spaces which were previously blank canvases of white walls.

We did what we do best, i.e. mixing in existing traditional pre-war details with a major boost of modern and unexpected patterns and details. Our studio was given carte blanche, a rare treat for a first time client, and the trust paid off, as we combined JMorris’ exquisite taste with a sense of fun and whimsy, while carefully navigating the client’s specific needs such as playing to certain color schemes for a color-blind family member.

A favorite vignette includes the Maya Romanoff watercolor wallpaper at the living room, which adds depth and luminance in a long narrow space. We carefully accented the room with two vibrant metallic chevron walls, and we transformed a long, empty gallery foyer, adding a wood veneer wall covering to the ceiling that even the clients felt had always been there.
